Virgin Money has committed to plans to close a fifth of its branches.
The bank, which calls it branches “stores”, will close 31 of them, including 12 in Scotland, this year.
The closures will reduce its network to 131, down from 245 when Virgin Money merged with Clydesdale Bank in 2018.
