Knight Frank has teamed up with and Cresa to deliver occupier real estate services globally.

The partnership follows the dissolution of Knight Frank’s global partnership with Newmark.

Cresa is one of the world’s largest occupier-centric commercial real estate firms, and with Knight Frank will offer “an integrated platform of services directed at corporate end users, providing a truly global solution for occupier clients”.

Alistair Elliott, senior partner and group chairman at Knight Frank, said: “This is a partnership based on shared culture, values and approach to doing business. Together we have formed an alliance that will focus on the needs of the clients we service, providing strategic advice and delivering a range of first-class occupier solutions.

“The alignment of our partner-owned businesses is key. We will play an active role in assisting Cresa expand their operations and serve our shared clients. I have no doubt this is the beginning of a long and fruitful relationship, one which will immediately add to both firms’ suite of services and the depth of expertise we can offer our diverse range of clients.”

Cresa chief executive Tod Lickerman added: “Knight Frank is a natural partnership choice for Cresa due to our aligned values and independent structures. Together we will provide high-level service and resources to our clients around the world. We feel confident that this partnership will strengthen our ability to meet the rapidly changing needs of global occupiers.”

Together, Knight Frank and Cresa have more than 16,000 people, across 384 offices in 51 territories.

The partnership will be guided by an Alliance Management Board, which includes executives from the top of both organisations. In addition, William Beardmore-Gray, Knight Frank’s global head of occupier services and incoming senior partner, will sit on the Cresa board, while Lickerman will attend Knight Frank’s group executive board on a regular basis.

Knight Frank’s dedicated USA desk, headed up by Knight Frank partners Joey Vlasto and Mark Sullivan, who have both been in the US for 10 years, will continue to play a key role in coordinating cross-border business and ensuring optimal service delivery.
