Tiger Developments has lodged plans for 301 co-living studios in Guildford, Surrey.
Proposals for Guildford Plaza on Bury Street include lounge and dining areas, co-working spaces, a gym and shared kitchen facilities.
Designs from Coffey Architects offer a range of studio sizes from 18 sq m to 41 sq m, as well as shared flats with communal space.
The application will be decided by Guildford Borough Council. Pending consent, Tiger is targeting completion in the second half of 2023.
The site is located in the town centre, close to the High Street and Guildford station.
John Nesbitt, managing director of Tiger Developments, said: “We believe there is a strong demand for high-quality rental accommodation in central locations such as this.”
CBRE’s residential capital markets business is advising on the funding of the scheme.
Andrew Purdon, head of co-living transactions at CBRE, added: “Guildford is a top-tier South East town with a chronic lack of purpose-built rental accommodation. It has a diverse local economy with a variety of major employers, as well as being approximately 30 minutes from central London by train.”
