The Government Property Agency has appointed a new workplace specialist as it seeks to deliver “productive and collaborative spaces” across the government estate.
Louis Roberts has joined the GPA as deputy director of workplace service delivery.
Roberts, who joins from the private sector with experience working at Johnson Controls and ISS with clients including Jaguar Land Rover, Barclays and EY, will be tasked with supporting the GPA to strengthen its service strategy and solutions for property across government departments in the UK.
The GPA said Roberts would play a strategic role in expanding its workplace solutions expertise as it continues to deliver productive and collaborative spaces for the UK’s civil servants.
“People will always need places for work,” said Roberts. “It is upon us to adapt quickly to building-user needs, and provide the spaces in our buildings that support civil servants to be productive and happy at work. It is so important that this is done in a cost-conscious way, so value will always remain a key element of the changes we will see.”
