The Crown Estate has opened a new flexible workspace for tenants in its existing St James’s properties.
Tenants will be able to use the new co-working space at 6 Babmaes Street, SW1, for networking, events and meetings.
The building, a revamped 1970s office block, has public and private rooms, as well as a rooftop terrace, and will also offer tenants complimentary wellbeing activities including yoga, meditation and pop-up events.
The building is the estate’s second co-working space, following the opening of One Heddon Street, W1, in 2019.
Simon Harding-Roots, managing director for London, said: “This is a new type of space for the Crown Estate. While we are seeing more of our customers returning to their offices, we know that the world has changed and there is an expectation that teams will want to split their time between work and home. Babmaes is a suitable response to an evolving world.”
