Former Apollo boss buys London mansion

Leon Black, the US billionaire who quit his investment firm Apollo Global Management after an inquiry into his ties to the disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein, has splashed out £21m on a new home in central London.

Black is understood to have agreed to buy 93 Eaton Square in Belgravia.

The six-bedroom property was put up for sale for £23m through Beauchamp Estates in July.
