Compton is well ahead of the rest of the pack at the top of EG’s leaderboard of the most active agents in the London City Fringe office market, helped by a recent 114,806 sq ft letting in Farringdon.
The deal, at Bloom Clerkenwell, 48-50 Cowcross Street, EC1 (pictured), saw an undisclosed tenant take the space from landlord HB Reavis on a 10-year lease ending on 24 November 2031. The accommodation spans the second to sixth floors, including private roof terraces.
Compton has acted on 435,907 sq ft of lettings and occupational sales in the City Fringe so far this year, while some way back in second spot is Cushman & Wakefield on 173,822 sq ft. Completing the top five are CBRE, which has transacted 150,113 sq ft of deals, Richard Susskind & Co on 92,571 sq ft and Anton Page on 72,898 sq ft.
