Watch manufacturer Casio has agreed to lease 10,000 sq ft at Quintain’s Hive office building in Wembley Park, west London.
The UK branch of Casio will move 100 workers into a floor at the newly developed building, which has BREEAM Excellent and WiredScore Gold ratings.
Casio is moving as part of a switch to hybrid working, which it said the new office would help accommodate.
Tim Gould, deputy managing director of Casio UK, added that the Wembley area reflected what the company sees as a philosophy of “creativity and contribution”.
“The modern and vibrant community is well suited to our next stage of growth and evolution as a company,” he added.
The Hive comprises 115,000 sq ft of grade-A offices and 10,000 sq ft of retail space, next to Wembley Stadium.
Jason Margrave, executive director of development at Quintain, said: “Given the challenges that Covid brought, offices can no longer just be a place where staff just sit at a desk, they need to offer more.
“As well as the Hive’s flexible space and the area’s great connectivity, Wembley Park provides employees with several amenities on their doorstep, including Boxpark and London Designer Outlet, so those in the office can make the most of their days working on site and catching up with fellow workers.”
Quintain is the developer and operator of the 85-acre Wembley regeneration scheme.
