Sci-Tech Daresbury has received planning consent for an 180,000 sq ft office and lab space scheme, called Ultraviolet.
Halton Borough Council approved the outline planning application at the committee on 7 December.
Ultraviolet is a part of Liverpool campus of innovation centre Sci-Tech Daresbury. The development will be located next to Project Violet, a £17.8m, three-building office development which is set to open shortly.
Sci-Tech Daresbury is a partnership between property company Langtree, the Science & Technology Facilities Council, and Halton Council. Spawforths is the planning advisor for the project, which is designed by Seven Architecture.
John Downes, chief executive officer of Langtree and chairman of Sci-Tech Daresbury, said: “Creating the right facilities for businesses in our region to thrive is not just critical for the health of the North West’s economy, but for the whole of the UK.”
