WATCH Imagine a world where it didn’t matter where you came from, what you spoke like, what you looked like or whether you knew the right people?
Imagine a world in which the special skills you have, which made you a little different to the person next to you, were celebrated and supported as special skills, or even as superpowers.
Imagine a world of understanding. Understanding that some people’s diaries have to work a bit differently but that doesn’t mean they are doing any less (they are probably doing more, to be honest). Understanding that there are certain biological inevitables that mean reasonable adjustments have to be made in how we work.
Imagine a world that thrives. A world that we protect and nurture and make better.
Imagine. Sounds pretty good doesn’t it?
This was exactly the world that EG’s Future Leaders imagined as each of them took to the stage to deliver 10-minute Ted-style presentations on a host of topics they were passionate about. They took the audience on a journey of discovery that led us to a world of adjusting and accepting, a world of working just a little bit harder so we could ultimately be a whole lot better.
