Aldi has become the latest retailer to trial a checkout-free store.
The discount retailer’s new site in Greenwich will allow shoppers to pick up goods and leave, without queuing at a till.
They will even be able to buy alcohol, with facial recognition software assessing their age.
Aldi has more than 950 stores in the UK.
