A new joint venture between Blackstone and Regis Group has purchased two PRS schemes in Essex for £74m.
Leaf Living bought the two schemes in Colchester and Cressing from Countryside.
The joint venture launched in October 2021 with the aim of building an initial £1bn portfolio of single-family housing in the UK, providing 5,000 homes.
Leaf Living will develop, own and operate the homes. The firm is led by former Regis investment director Will Montague as chief executive.
Montague said: “This is another important step in delivering high-quality, professionally-managed modern houses, in places where people want to live and on terms that suit all renters.”
