JLL has expanded its residential research division, with four new recruits focused on new housing and living investment.
Marcus Dixon joins as director of UK residential research. Dixon joins after seven years at LonRes, having established the research division in 2015.
He has 18 years’ experience in the sector, including previous roles at Dataloft and Savills.
Dixon is joined by Emma Rosser as associate, tasked with elevating living sector research in build-to-rent, student and later living, and two senior analysts. Meg Eglington has been recruited from Knight Frank, with a second analyst to join the team in mid-March.
Nick Whitten, head of UK residential and living research, said: “The pandemic has underpinned housing as the most important real estate sector – we may have changed the way we work or play, but the one constant is the need for a good quality place to live.
“This dynamic has sparked an ever-growing interest in all forms of housing from the general public through to developers, investors and policy makers alike. JLL’s enhanced research capacity will allow us to produce more insights to satisfy that growing appetite for all things residential.”
