BNP Paribas Real Estate UK has appointed its first director of ESG, hiring former marketing director of the University College of Estate Management Donna Rourke.
She will be in charge of ESG strategy and embedding ESG values into the agency’s day-to-day activities. BNP PRE’s UK boss Etienne Prongué said Rourke will “direct our engagement and effective stewardship to grow our distinctive leadership position, always with our clients’ best interests at our heart”.
Rourke added: “I was attracted to this role because we have a shared view that the real estate sector has a pivotal role to play in mitigating the impact of climate change and creating resilient communities.”
