CBRE names occupier head for Yorkshire and North East

CBRE has created a new role to advise occupiers in its Leeds office, a move that it says marks a first in the city’s agency market.

Charles Parkinson’s new role as head of occupier services for Yorkshire and the North East comes after almost three years in the agency, during which he most recently worked in the Leeds office agency team.

Joe Rigby, CBRE’s head of occupier services, said: “Charles’s role will be to work with businesses of all sizes on their real estate strategy and direction. With the changing world of the workplace and office space in particular, occupiers are demanding specialised service delivery to help them attract and retain top talent, drive efficiencies within their real estate portfolio, and maximise economic value.”

The company has also hired Ellie McCollin, a graduate surveyor, to provide support for the team.
