Schroders bolsters Manchester and London teams

Schroders Capital has made two asset management hires to support business growth in its Manchester and London offices.

Matthew Baddeley has joined as a retail investment and asset management specialist in Manchester, a new role at Schroders Capital. He moves from RDI REIT and brings with him 15 years of asset management experience across all sectors.

Charles Twist has been appointed as an office asset management specialist – also a new role – initially focused on the Central and Greater London portfolio. Charles joins from Viewranks Estates and has more than 10 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Rebecca Gates, head of UK asset management at Schroders Capital Real Estate, said: “Their experience will support the increased focus on our hospitality-led approach to asset and property management, with every asset managed as a business in itself.

“We anticipate that further hires will be made in both our London and Manchester offices to support a high level of business growth and positive portfolio activity.”
