Countryside and Hyde have received planning approval for the latest phase of their Rochester Riverside scheme in Kent.
Phase 7 of the £419m Medway scheme will deliver 154 new homes and open up a further segment of river walkway.
It will complete the southern end of the Rochester Riverside plan, which will deliver a new mixed-tenure community of up to 1,400 new homes over 12 years, alongside a primary school, nursery, hotel, commercial units and open green spaces.
Phases 1 and 2 of the development have now been completed, delivering 331 homes along with a hotel, supermarket and coffee shop. Phase 3, which is under construction, will deliver 171 new homes, a large waterfront park and new public areas around the famous dockside blue crane, with the first residents expected to move in this summer.
