Lendlease Europe is among the companies being given the nod for its work supporting employees’ mental health and wellbeing.
This Can Happen, an event that promotes ways for companies in various industries to introduce mental health initiatives into their businesses, has revealed the nominees of its annual awards.
Lendlease Europe has been nominated for the best mental health in the workplace strategy for a large company, pitting it against Experian, Mizuho International and GSK. Also representing the real estate industry in the shortlist is Carl Wales of Wates Group, nominated for most inspiring employee of the year.
Toni Graves, global head of reward and wellbeing at Allen & Overy and chair of This Can Happen’s judging committee, said the team saw “a jump in quality over last year” in submissions “as it is evident more organisations are learning how to address mental health positively”.
The awards will be presented on 16 June.
