Newcastle’s Nexus House, which is 97% let to Tyneside Transport Services, operating as Nexus Rail, has been sold for in excess of £7m.
The 28,813 sq ft office building is situated south of Newcastle’s prime central business district at the junction of St James’ Boulevard and Westgate Road.
The deal was completed between a private client of Savills, acting for the vendor, and private clients of agency GPLI.
Peter Atkinson, investment director at Savills Newcastle, said: “The deal demonstrates both the continued confidence in the region from investors and the resurgence in appetite within the regional office sector which we are seeing nationally.”
