Earls Court Development Co hires four directors

The Earls Court Development Company has strengthened its team to push forward plans for a 40-acre site to deliver new homes and commercial, green and cultural spaces.

The regeneration of the former Earls Court Exhibition Centre site will be brought forward on behalf of the Earls Court Partnership – a jv between Delancey and Transport for London formed in 2019. In late 2021, the firm launched the latest phase of consultation, with detailed plans expected to be shared with the public over the coming months.

The new team will be led by Ben Giddens as director of development and masterplanning. The senior team comprises Aoife McEvoy and Benedict Keehan as development directors, and Sharon Giffen as head of design.

Giddens joins from Argent Related, McEvoy joins from Battersea Power Station Development Company, Keehan joins from EcoWorld, and Giffen was previously part of Transport for London’s commercial development team.

Giddens said: “The wider team have spent a lot of time understanding local priorities, and we are working on a plan that reflects the engagement we have undertaken. We are looking forward to sharing a new masterplan proposition for the site later this year, a plan that balances environmental, social and economic needs.”
