New occupiers move into Manchester’s Fairbairn and Bounds buildings

The recently refurbished Fairbairn and Bounds buildings, on Sackville Street, Manchester, have been let to three new tenants.

LGBT Foundation has leased the second floor of the Fairbairn building (pictured), while Grafmarine, which has developed an alternative source of renewable energy for the marine industry, has taken the first floor of the neighbouring Bounds building. Hyper Recruitment has signed a lease for the third floor.

Five-year leases were agreed on all three offices. Just 3,146 sq ft remains available in Fairbairn building.

Cushman & Wakefield and Edwards & Co are joint agents for both buildings.

Toby Nield, partner at leasing and occupier representation for offices at Cushman’s Manchester office, said: “These buildings have proven popular due to the high-quality character office space and vibrant location. They are well-positioned to support the post-Covid way of working, offering inspiring and attractive workspaces.”
