TFT has opened a new office in Cambridge as it continues to invest in regional markets following the pandemic.
Peter Wyld, who is joining from Carter Jonas, will lead the team.
Wyld (pictured) has over 15 years’ experience in surveying and project management and sustainability advice, covering sectors from office and laboratory spaces to historic buildings across London, East Anglia and the Midlands.
The move follows three earlier openings since the start of 2022 in Leeds, Southampton and Dublin.
TFT expects its Cambridge hub to benefit from businesses branching out of London. Censuswide data shows that a third of businesses based in London are looking to open satellite offices in neighbouring towns.
Alistair Allison, managing partner of TFT, said: “We’ve already built a solid reputation in East Anglia through our delivery of surveying, project management, sustainability and engineering services for new and existing clients. Expanding in the region supports our wider interests in non-core office locations which provide more places for our team, our clients and industry partners to work together.”
The new office reflects a period of growth for TFT. Recent projects include St James Quarter in Edinburgh, workplace schemes 400&450 Longwater Avenue and HERE+NOW, Thames Valley Park in the South East.
