CBRE IM signs Storrs as portfolio management lead

CBRE Investment Management has hired Steven Storrs as a portfolio management head.

Based in London, Storrs will be responsible for the oversight of the indirect portfolio management teams, setting the top-down strategy for key mandates and selecting suitable investments brought forward by the regional teams.

He will also be a member of CBRE IM’s indirect real estate management team and its leadership team.

Prior to joining CBRE IM, Storrs worked for RBC Capital Markets in Dallas, where he was head of portfolio management, as well as head of North America and Asia-Pacific asset management.

Prior to this, he worked at Goldman Sachs in London as the head of EMEA portfolio management, and as a VP of acquisitions and asset management for US real estate. Before that, he worked at Fortress Investment Group.

CBRE Investment Management has $146.8bn (£119.4bn) of assets under management worldwide, operating in more than 30 offices and 20 countries around the world. It is an independently operated affiliate of CBRE Group.
