Vita picks Alderley Park for ‘five-star’ later living scheme

Vita Group has bought a site at Bruntwood SciTech’s Alderley Park in Cheshire for the first development under its new later living brand, Symphony Park.

Symphony Park, Heatherley Woods will offer 159 one, two and three-bed apartments with services and amenities that the developer described as “akin to a five-star hotel”.

Facilities will include a wellbeing centre with a pool, exercise studios, treatment, a nail bar and hair salon, a residents’ restaurant, bar, and cafe. The development will have private dining rooms for entertaining family and friends, along with study and meeting rooms.

As a later living facility, the development will also have an on-site GP practice and offer at-home care and a domestic assistance team providing cleaning and maintenance services.

Trevor Moore, chief executive at Symphony Park, said: “Reimagining retirement living to create an outstanding proposition which responds to the needs of its residents has created what promises to be a thriving community for over 65s.

“The beautiful design and architecture met with the very best amenities such as the wellness spa and onsite GP practice complement the existing environment while helping to fund key worker accommodation and a new life science building.”
