London office provider Office Space in Town has reshuffled its management team, with co-founders Giles Fuchs (pictured) becoming chairman and his sister Niki Fuchs succeeding as chief executive officer.
Simon Eastlake, director of current developments, has replaced Niki Fuchs as managing director, while divisional director Georgia Sandom, recently appointed ESG lead, has been made operations director.
The Fuchs siblings hand over the positions they have held since founding Office Space in Town together in 2009, with the aim of preparing other key company personnel for future leadership roles and rewarding commitment to the business.
As the new managing director, Eastlake’s remit will incorporate the development of the business and its growth strategy going forward, plusd working closely with Niki Fuchs, Sandom, and co-founder and sales director Sarah Singlehurst. Sandom will also assume all operational responsibilities in her new position.
Niki Fuchs will lead and advise on the direction of the company as chief executive. This includes fulfilling the company’s vision to reach a valuation of £1bn by 2029.
Giles Fuchs’ transition to chairman, having led the business for more than two decades, will allow him to concentrate on his other ventures with Gunner’s Cocktails and Burgh Island Hotel.
Giles Fuchs said: “It is a pleasure to reward two colleagues who have supported us for so long, as Niki and I take in our new and exciting positions in the business. I am looking forward to focusing on my other ventures with Burgh Island Hotel and Gunner’s Cocktails – making me well-equipped to toast both Simon and Georgia’s future success.”
Niki Fuchs said: “Office Space in Town has always been a family business from its foundation to its values, and both Simon and Georgia have been key members of the family for at least a decade now. With my new brief to lead the business to a £1bn valuation by the end of the decade, I can think of nobody whose support I can rely on more confidently in the next stage of our growth.”
