Caddick Developments has brought forward proposals to develop new homes, offices, retail, leisure and community uses, as well as green public open space within the South Bank neighbourhood in Leeds.
The scheme, which will start just off Meadow Road and extend to the south of the city centre, is set to turn a large brownfield site into up to 1,925 new homes across 10 buildings, comprising studios, one, two and three-bedroom flats.
The masterplan, designed by SimpsonHaugh, also includes new retail, commercial and office space, around 650,000 sq ft of which will be grade-A workspace targeting exemplar environmental credentials.
Myles Hartley, managing director at Caddick, said: “The development is designed to meet the highest environmental standards, and our architects have worked to ensure that green, sustainable open space plays a vital role in the overall plan for the area.”
