Strawberry Star Group has unveiled plans for its new build-to-rent scheme on Bath Street in Gravesend, Kent.
The £30m project, called Star Living Gravesend, comprises 115 one, two and three-bedroom homes. It will be built on the former site of the Gravesend Maternity Hospital. Construction is set to start in the first quarter of 2023.
Steven Beveridge, chief executive of Star Living, said: “We are determined to deliver high-quality rental homes to meet the needs of our residents in Gravesend and surrounding areas.”
The launch of Star Living Gravesend follows the recent announcement of Strawberry Star’s first BTR scheme at Star Living Harlow. The company’s Star Living build-to-rent arm has been positioned in the market to provide a modern and convenient rental product within the commuter belt against a background of chronic supply issues, while serving investors as a resilient asset class poised for growth.
