Frasers Group, Mike Ashley’s retail business, has completed the disposal of more than £200m of properties.
The freehold and long leasehold retail properties held by subsidiaries were sold for £205m, to an unspecified vehicle called RI UK 1 Limited.
Frasers, whose brands include Sports Direct and House of Fraser, said it would operate from leases within these properties “where appropriate”. The company added that it would put the money towards its working capital and operations.
