Developers in Scotland will have to install electric vehicle chargers at all new buildings.
Under the proposals, intended to “future-proof” Scotland in the transition towards net zero, developers will have to ensure residential properties with at least one parking space have a charging point. Non-residential buildings should install one of the charging points for every 10 parking spaces.
