Transport firm takes space at Aviva’s Swan Valley

WT Transport has signed a 10-year lease on a 133,000 sq ft facility at Swan Valley Industrial Park, Northampton.

The building, known as Rothbart 133, was speculatively developed by Aviva Investors in July. It has BREEAM Excellent and EPC A ratings.

Rothbart 133 benefits from 14m haunch height, 50m yard depth, as well as 12 dock doors, two level-access doors and parking for up to 43 HGVs.

James Stevens, head of real estate investment at Aviva Investors, said: “This is a welcome validation of our ability to develop and supply high-quality facilities which have occupiers’ needs front-of-mind while also being sustainable and more in keeping with a low-carbon future.”

Aviva’s letting agents were Avison Young and Burbage Realty. Chadwick McRae acted for WT Transport.
