Citi nears deal for new European HQ in Dublin

Citigroup is preparing to strike a €100m (£86m) deal to develop a new European headquarters in Dublin.

The US bank is finalising a deal for a 300,000 sq ft office in the Dublin Docklands, according to the Financial Times.

Citi employs more than 2,500 people in Ireland and made Dublin its European headquarters at the time of the UK’s Brexit vote in 2016.
