Chancerygate has submitted plans to turn a six-acre site in Colwick, Nottingham, into 98,000 sq ft of logistics and industrial space.
The proposed £25m scheme, called Colwick Gateway, will replace a vacant fuel distribution centre formerly used by Total Petroleum. The site forms a part of Colwick Industrial Estate, which is home to Jewson, Sainsbury’s, Biffa, Nottingham Steel Supplies and Tile Tec Fireplace.
Mark Garrity, development manager at Chancerygate, said: “Our proposed plans at Colwick aim to satisfy the high demand for grade-A sustainable trade counter, urban logistics and industrial accommodation in the Nottingham area.
“The proposed development will help support both the local and regional economy to stimulate further investment and job creation.”
FHP and Gerald Eve acted on behalf of Colwick in support of planning application.
