Canary Wharf launches engagement app 

Canary Wharf Group has teamed up with proptech company Equiem to launch an estate-wide engagement app that it hopes will make it easier for visitors to find their way around and take advantage of the estate’s retail and F&B offerings.

The Docklands sees some 1.1m visitors each week. The new platform will include interactive maps and offers from the 300-plus shops and restaurants across the area.

Michelle Laramy, director of customer experience at Canary Wharf Group, said: “This is a major step in our ambition to create an extraordinary environment for our residents, workers and visitors so they can fully enjoy all the benefits of Canary Wharf.” =

Equiem’s other clients include British Land, which in 2020 launched its own tenant app on its Broadgate campus.
