Orchard Street industrial hub fully let after closing two deals

Orchard Street Investment Management has completed two lettings at its Albany Point distribution hub in Camberley, Surrey, taking the industrial site to full occupancy.

The investment manager has secured its second and third lettings for the remaining 30,000 sq ft at the 48,406 sq ft hub.

E-commerce delivery specialist Seko Logistics has agreed to a five-year lease on a 15,500 sq ft facility.

Spotless Water, the UK’s first self-service, “ultra-pure” water distribution network, has agreed to a 10-year lease across a 14,500 sq ft space.

The duo joins Menzies Distribution, which signed for a 10-year lease on a 18,800 sq ft space earlier this year.

The lettings follow a comprehensive redevelopment of the site. Features include secure yards, 10m clear internal height, air-conditioned office space on the first floor, electric vehicle charging points and onsite solar power generation. It was built to a BREEAM Excellent standard and has an A+ EPC rating. All facilities are carbon-neutral in operation.

Richard Walters, partner at Orchard Street, said: “Securing these two lettings in such short succession is testament to Albany Point’s strong industrial proposition and strategic location, as well as the key sustainability credentials which are now so vital for occupiers.”

Hurst Warne and Savills acted as joint marketing agents for the scheme.
