British Land is reportedly planning to sell a £590m portfolio of London buildings whose tenants include Facebook owner Meta Platforms.
The REIT has hired an adviser to sell 10, 20 and 30 Brock Street, NW1, according to Bloomberg. British Land has declined to comment.
If confirmed, British Land will join other big property companies selling completed and fully leased developments to reinvest in new schemes, despite difficulties facing the economy, in a sizeable bet on the appetite for “green” offices.
Landsec sold 21 Moorfields, EC2, last month. Great Portland Estates recently announced the sale of a nearly completed scheme on Finsbury Square.
