Lovell Partnerships has appointed Phil Jones as head of land and partnerships for its newly launched North East region.
Jones joins Lovell from Thirteen Group, where he was land and planning director, before which he worked with Homes England as senior planning and enabling manager, and Lichfields where he was a planning director for five years.
At Lovell, Jones will be responsible for identifying and acquiring sites throughout the North East, including Northumberland, Tyne and Wear, County Durham, Tees Valley and North Yorkshire.
He will also be supporting the team through the planning process and maintaining and enhancing partnerships with local authorities, registered providers and key organisations.
Jones said: “The role will see me help to drive forward the company’s ambitious growth plans and build on the team’s successes so far. Over the past 25 years, I have worked in a wide range of roles in the development industry. As such, I am confident my extensive network of key developers, land agents, local authorities and statutory consultee contacts, as well as my strong, lasting relationships with key partners, will facilitate the identification and delivery of development opportunities across the North East.”
