The latest phase of the £1bn Salford Central masterplan in Manchester has received consent from Salford City Council.
The English Cities Fund, a joint venture between Muse Developments, Legal & General and Homes England, will bring forward an additional 196 homes for rent as part of the scheme.
Construction is set to begin in early 2023 to deliver a 22-storey building with a rooftop lounge, gym and wellness suite. Residents will also benefit from a full management and concierge service.
Stuart Rogers, projects director at The English Cities Fund, said: “Our work at Salford Central development is truly mixed-use, and our aim is that this new place will bring further diversity to this already vibrant and growing community.”
