Life sciences laboratory developer Pioneer Group has added a trio of directors to the team.
Fred Reynolds (above, left) joined from BlackRock, where he spent 19 years, most recently working on management of the BlackRock UK Property Fund. At Pioneer, Reynolds will be responsible for managing the development pipeline of modern life science facilities.
John Mackenzie (above, centre) has joined to work on Pioneer’s strategic development of science parks in Scotland, including Edinburgh Technopole and BioCity Glasgow. He has previously served as chief executive of Edinburgh University’s Roslin Innovation Centre, where he spent the last seven years working across venture creation between the university and businesses.
Subjit Jassy (above, right) has spent the last four years working as a consultant for companies in the real estate sector, including Capital & Regional, Orion Capital Managers and Quadrant Estates. In his new role, he will be responsible for development and management across Pioneer’s assets in the south east of England.
The move comes as Pioneer continues with expansion plans. Last month, the company hired Harry Pickering as portfolio director and UK head of investment.
Pioneer chief executive Richard O’Boyle said: “From working with some of the world’s largest asset managers, to providing advice, guidance and support to start ups and scale ups, the trio will help us to continue diversifying our offering by creating a vertically-integrated platform that helps lay the path for Britain to become a scientific superpower.”
