The government must keep its promise to insulate millions of homes, the COP26 president Alok Sharma has warned.
The minister, who was dismissed from cabinet last week, will hand over the climate summit’s presidency to Egypt on Sunday. He said the window to limit global warming to 1.5°c was “closing fast”.
Research last week said the world had, in fact, missed its chance to limit the rise to 1.5°C.
