Developer works up resi play for old amusement arcade

A developer that bought an old amusement arcade in the seaside town of Hastings, East Sussex, hopes to turn the building into a  residential scheme.

Oasis Developments has bought 39-41 George Street, a three-floor former amusement arcade that was also once home to the Georgies nightclub.

The new owner intends to redevelop the building as 20 flats and ground-floor commercial space.

The building last changed hands in 2016 when it was acquired by Luxury Leisure for £922,500, according to EG Radius data.
