Build-to-rent developer Get Living has promoted a former Landsec portfolio head to be its chief operating officer.
Ailish Christian-West (pictured) joined the company in 2020. She is stepping up from her previous role at Get Living as executive director for portfolio management, development and ESG.
Earlier in her career, she spent 12 years at Landsec, including a stint as head of the shopping centre and outlets portfolio and latterly as head of property for retail leisure urban London and hotels. She has also been a president of the retail, leisure and placemaking real estate networking body Revo.
In the new post, she will keep her current 20-strong team structure and report to chief executive Rick de Blaby. She will also remain chair of Get Living’s ESG committee.
De Blaby said: “Ailish’s extensive portfolio management and operational expertise has seen her advance our maturing assets into the next era of growth and accelerated our pipeline further since she joined the business two years ago.”
