Vita Group has sold its Vita Student Lewisham Exchange scheme to AXA IM Alts in a deal that represents a 4.25% yield.
The development opened in the 2021/22 academic year and comprises 758 beds in a scheme close to Lewisham railway station.
The asset is targeting a BREEAM Excellent certification, is EPC A-rated and includes a gym, private dining rooms and study spaces.
Vita Group’s operating platform, Vita Student, will continue to run the building on behalf of AXA.
Max Bielby, chief operating officer of Vita Group, said: “In securing this deal, it provides the business with the capital and the confidence to continue to develop the Vita Group platform, with an ever-increasing future pipeline of projects.”
