CBRE senior director joins Hanover Green Retail

Hanover Green Retail has hired CBRE senior director Richard Alsop to focus on the central London retail investment market.

Alsop leaves CBRE after nearly 10 years, where he was a senior director and has been responsible for some of London’s key retail transactions. Those include the sale of the Ferragamo flagship at 24 Old Bond Street on behalf of NFUM, for a record £141m, along with other high-profile sales in Old Bond Street such as the Cartier, Tods and Richard Mille stores.

Luke Hargreaves, principal at Hanover Green Retail, said: “Richard Alsop is a key hire for us. He brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in the London retail investment market that perfectly complements our strong agency and lease advisory team, particularly in the core luxury markets on and around New and Old Bond Street.

“We advise London’s most important retail landlords and it is important that we continue to deepen the range of advice we can offer to them.”

Phil Cann, head of Central London retail at CBRE, said: “Richard has had a great 10 years with us here at CBRE and we are sad to see him go. However, I wish him all the best in the next chapter of his career and look forward to continuing working closely with him on a number of projects.”
