Visitors to Cain International’s Islington Square, N1, will soon be ducking, jumping and chucking stuff, following its latest signing.
Energize Games has taken 7,800 sq ft at the mixed-use development for a new immersive gaming concept, combining live gaming, entertainment and fitness. It hopes to open its doors early this year.
Energize founder and CEO Stefan Vargolici said: “We knew we had to find a location with an innovative spirit that would appeal to people hungry for new experiences, and Islington Square checked all the boxes in providing exactly that.”
Energize, which has had success with its Breaking Escape Rooms brand, will join other gaming tenants at Cain’s £400m retail and leisure scheme, including New Meta, which launched in August last year.
Neil Barber, retail leasing director at Cain, said: “The addition of yet another innovative leisure brand such as Energize Games will complement our offer to provide special experiences for our guests at Islington Square. Our growing collection of established independent names operating in leisure, retail and F&B proves the strength of Islington Square as a preferred location for leading brands to connect with their target audience.”
