Get Living is preparing to file plans with the London Legacy Development Corporation for a 500-room purpose-built student accommodation scheme in Stratford, E20.
The developer has filed an environmental impact assessment screening report with the LLDC regarding its plans for a two-tower student housing development of 10 and 15 storeys.
The East Village site, on plot N16, has existing planning consent for 188 beds in a 16-storey tower. Of the 500 rooms, 35% will be affordable.
Get Living has partnered with the University of the Arts London and expects to allocate 50% of its student accommodation homes to London College of Fashion students.
The development will also offer internal and external amenity spaces, cycle parking and associated public realm.
The developer seeks to submit a detailed planning application for the site in the coming weeks.
