The global energy and cost of living crises will abate by the end of a year dominated by recession risks, the World Economic Forum has said.
A majority of the 50 chief economists polled by the WEF on the eve of its annual Davos gathering expected a recession to hit this year but said there would be tentative signs of optimism over the next 12 months.
