Bruntwood SciTech has appointed Zoe Peace to manage its development operations.
Peace joins from JLL, where she has worked for the past four years, most recently as an associate and senior surveyor in the life sciences team. Prior to that she was at Cushman & Wakefield.
In the new role, Peace will help Bruntwood SciTech to deliver a pipeline of in-demand life sciences-focused supply across the UK. She will focus on the delivery of 1.7m sq ft of work and lab space at Manchester Science Park, within Manchester’s Oxford Road Corridor, and Melbourn Science Park near Cambridge.
The move comes as Bruntwood SciTech rolls out the “Biospheric Network” to provide UK-wide support for the life sciences sector, including business consultancy, networking and access to finance.
The initiative’s first cohort for 2023 is made up of 15 corporate partners and 21 mentors, including KPMG and Deloitte, with the total number of advisers and mentors expected to reach 20 and 30 respectively by 2024.
Kath Mackay, director of life sciences at Bruntwood SciTech, said: “We have a deep understanding of life science businesses and the challenges that entrepreneurs face.
“The Biospheric Network is a collaborative approach that has huge potential in its ability to support innovative, high-growth businesses and individuals right across the sector in a structured, meaningful way that will ensure our regional hubs of excellence continue to thrive and businesses grow.”
