JLL’s Poppink to lead markets advisory business

JLL has named Andy Poppink, its chief executive of the markets advisory business in Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as the next global CEO of the division.

Poppink will succeed Greg O’Brien, who has been appointed executive chairman for Americas markets advisory. The two will take their new roles in July.

The markets advisory business spans agency leasing and tenant representation, property management, and advisory and consulting.

Poppink will take a seat on the global executive board, chaired by chief executive Christian Ulbrich.

Poppink joined JLL when it acquired the Staubach Company, where he worked, in 2008. He spent much of his career advising technology companies in and around Silicon Valley and rose to become president of the US West region for the firm.

He took his EMEA markets advisory role in early 2021, taking over from Guy Grainger.
