Protestors gathered over the weekend to rail against plans to move Bristol Zoo from its current city centre site.
The Clifton site is being sold for housing, while the zoo will relocate to an out-of-town spot in Gloucestershire.
Hundreds of protestors gathered, waving placards objecting to what they see as “an act of complete greed”.
Bristol Zoo has said it has no choice but to sell the site as costs rise.
