Sirius Real Estate has hired Chris Bowman as its chief financial officer.
Bowman moves from the UK investment banking arm of Berenberg to the business and industrial park owner and operator.
Prior to that, he spent seven years in investment banking at Liberum, and worked in corporate finance at Canaccord and Credit Lyonnais. He qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG in 2000.
Bowman’s appointment will become effective on 29 August 2023, at which time he will also join the Sirius board.
At that point interim CFO Alistair Marks will resume role as chief investment officer and step down from the board. He intends to focus on the company’s investment strategy in Germany.
